Samhita Siddhant
Samhita Siddhant

Introduction:
Samhita Siddhant is the fundamental branch of Ayurveda that deals with the basic principles (Siddhant) and classical texts (Samhita). It provides the foundation of Ayurvedic education by introducing students to the philosophy, history, and core concepts described in the Brihattrayi (Charaka Samhita, Sushruta Samhita, Ashtanga Hridaya) and Laghutrayi (Madhava Nidana, Sharangadhara Samhita, Bhava Prakasha).
This subject helps students understand the origin, scope, and scientific principles of Ayurveda, covering essential topics such as Tridosha Siddhant, Panchamahabhuta Siddhant, Atma, Manas, Sharir, and other fundamental theories. It enables learners to apply classical knowledge in modern-day clinical practice and research.
